Limits worth knowing first
Default length. Ask for a slide count in your description; the result may differ.
Per IP address. A shared network shares the limit. Daily site capacity can also pause generation.
Maximum description length. Write in the language you want the slides in.
No signup or personal deck history. Download before you close the tab.
Verify every fact, quote, citation and chart before presenting. Generated text can sound convincing without a source. Even an explanatory deck like the one above needs review.
What happens to what you type
We keep it
Your description, the deck and a hashed IP address are saved so we can enforce limits and check quality. We don't delete them automatically yet; email us and we remove yours.
Sharing is your choice
Decks are private unless you tick Share before generating. If you opt in, eligible decks appear in public Examples with the original prompt until removed. Prompts are still stored for limits and quality.
We never ask who you are
No account, name, email or payment.

Questions
Can I open it in Google Slides or Keynote?
Yes. Download the .pptx and import it into your presentation app. Check layout and formatting after import.
Why is my deck shorter than I asked?
Long requests can be trimmed. Ask for a specific slide count in plain words and generate again.
Can I use the deck for school or work?
We do not claim ownership of your prompt or output. Review the content and clear any third-party rights before using it.
Is my topic stored?
Decks are private unless you tick Share before generating. Only then may eligible decks and their prompts appear in public Examples. We still store prompts, decks, full responses, hashed IP addresses and operational metadata for limits and quality. Retention is planned for up to 90 days, but automatic deletion is not implemented, so records may remain longer. Public copies remain until removed. Use Report or email contact@freeslide.app to request removal.
