FreeSlide is built on a no-account principle: we do not ask you to sign up, and we do not collect your name, email, or payment information. This policy explains the limited data we handle when you generate a slide deck.
What we collect
Each time you click Generate, we process one request containing:
- A hashed IP address — used only to enforce rate limits and deter abuse.
- Your prompt text — the topic or instructions you type, used to generate the deck and monitor quality.
- Generated deck and full response — status, latency, and output format details used for operational monitoring.
- Timestamp — used for rate-limit windows and reliability checks.
What we do not collect
- Name, email, account profile, or payment information
- Private files from your computer unless you explicitly upload them
Third-party services
AI providers process your prompt to create the slide content. Their policies govern their handling of inference requests.
Cloudflare Turnstile helps verify that generation requests come from humans.
Plausible Analytics records aggregate traffic stats without cookies or personal profiles.
Adsterra serves third-party Banner ads. Adsterra and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and receive information such as your IP address and browser details. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, ads load only after you accept optional cookies; declining keeps ads off. Elsewhere, ads load by default. See Adsterra’s privacy policy and cookie policy. We store your consent choice in your browser; clearing this site’s storage lets you choose again.
Anonymous public Examples
Decks are private unless you tick “Share this deck in public Examples (prompt included)” before generating. Only opted-in, eligible decks are published after automated safety checks. Prompts and results are still stored for limits and quality checks. Public items show the prompt, generated result, originating tool, and date, but not your IP address or identity. Examples pages carry noindex directives for search engines. Do not submit confidential, identifying, or regulated information.
Data retention
We store prompts, generated outputs, full responses, hashed IP addresses, timestamps, and operational metadata. Our operational retention policy is up to 90 days. Automatic deletion is not currently implemented, so records may remain longer. Public Examples or Gallery copies remain until removed; they do not expire with operational records.
Your rights
To request removal, use the Report link on a public item or email contact@freeslide.app with the item link or request details. We do not maintain accounts; please provide enough information to identify the record.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The last-updated date above will reflect any revision.
